Resonance v2.2 - combat audio
Dev log - finally got round to recording a proper action sequence running on DnD5e (Daggerheart is compatible and has specific sounds for resource uses e.g. hope/fear use - i'll do another video when I can)
- wanted to show what Resonance actually sounds like in practice rather than just talking about it.
Weapons hit, spells land, crits pop, things die loudly. All playing from the built-in sound library, nothing hand-configured. v2.1 also fixed a handful of bugs, crossbow was matching to the bow sound (substring issue), armor use/repair had the direction swapped, and NPC deaths were playing PC vocals. All sorted now.
Changelog:
- 35 core combat (e.g. hits/misses)
- 39 weapon sounds (swords, bows, claws, slams ...and even tentacles)
- 32 spell effects per element (e.g. fire/acid/healing)
- 345 monster vocals across 26 creature types - there are a few I want to redo but I think they are good for now
- 73 'stingers' (hope/fear, crit/fumble)
- 23 PC pain/death vocals with voice type variants

500+ sounds total ....took about 2 weeks to make them all o.0
